چکیده

It is said that embedded software technology brings most value to embedded system products. In the embedded systems market, the impact of open source and free software is booming so strong that more vendors are adopting open source and free software for their products. ETRI, Korea’s largest government-funded research facility in the field of Information Technology and Communications, has been developing embedded software technologies and solutions. This paper introduces two embedded operating systems, Qplus and Nano Qplus, and an integrated development environment for embedded software, called Esto. With these products, we propose to discuss a way to share them among three nations. Discussion Topic: Open Source/Free Software

A Programming Model for the Automatic Construction of USN Applications Based on Nano-Qplus

A programming model for the automatic construction of USN applications based on Nano-Qplus is proposed in this paper. Nano-Qplus is a sensor network platform developed by ETRI. Programs of nodes such as sensors, routers, sinks and actuators in a sensor network are automatically generated through the technique of this paper. Developers can implement USN applications from models of sensor network...

Methods for equidistant code search in computer package QPlus

New tools in computer package for coding theory research and studying QPlus are presented. QPlus includes a DLL library package that implements coding theory algorithms. We consider some methods for searching bounds on the size of q-ary equidistant codes by computer methods. Some examples for optimal equidistant codes and constant-weight equidistant codes that have been constructed by computer ...

Calculation of the effect of tip geometry on noncontact atomic force microscopy using a qPlus sensor

In qPlus atomic force microscopy the tip length can in principle approach the length of the cantilever. We present a detailed mathematical model of the effects this has on the dynamic properties of the qPlus sensor. The resulting, experimentally confirmed motion of the tip apex is shown to have a large lateral component, raising interesting questions for both calibration and force-spectroscopy ...

Optimizing qPlus sensor assemblies for simultaneous scanning tunneling and noncontact atomic force microscopy operation based on finite element method analysis

Quartz tuning forks that have a probe tip attached to the end of one of its prongs while the other prong is arrested to a holder ("qPlus" configuration) have gained considerable popularity in recent years for high-resolution atomic force microscopy imaging. The small size of the tuning forks and the complexity of the sensor architecture, however, often impede predictions on how variations in th...

A Node Management Tool for Dynamic Reconfiguration of Application Modules in Sensor Networks

The configuration management of a sensor network composed of tens or up to thousands of nodes is difficult due to the limit of memory space and energy consumption. This paper presents an approach for dynamic reconfiguration of application modules in sensor networks based on Nano-Qplus. The version information from proposed methods is registered into NVSync (Nano-Qplus Version Synchronization), ...
